Mississippi Democrat politico Kenneth Stokes who fomented insurrection by urging his constituents to throw rocks and bricks at police in violation of Federal law stands by his comments

On Saturday when I posted about this story I included the U.S. code I feel this man clearly violated:
 18 U.S. Code § 2383
Whoever incites, sets on foot, assists, or engages in any rebellion or insurrection against the authority of the United States or the laws thereof, or gives aid or comfort thereto, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.

If we had a Justice Department that was a bunch of Obama hacks maybe the proper action would be taken.
NY Daily News reports a Mississippi councilman who claimed cop chases in his neighborhood were racist has defended his controversial comments.
Kenneth Stokes said that residents in his Jackson ward should throw rocks, bricks and bottles in response to police pursuits through their streets.

Stokes declined to elaborate on what they should do with the missiles, but insisted that race was a factor in the chases that he says are putting lives at risk, reported The Clarion-Ledger.
“Race is a factor, and the blatant disregard for the public safety of innocent children and elderly citizens in unlawful chases by outside jurisdictions, in the inner city of Jackson neighborhoods,” Stokes said at a press conference Sunday.

This is a public official that took an oath to uphold the law of the United States.  This is a very serious matter and thus far no action is being taken against him.
