Hollywood ought to make a movie about Bob Feller

Here’s a guy who came to the major leagues at the young age of 17 years old and struck out veteran players with ease.  After racking up three consecutive 20 win seasons the day after Pearl Harbor was attacked by Japan, he enlisted in the Navy and served for the next three years on a ship during WWll.

He gave up three of his prime years, ages 23 to 25 to serve his country and picked up where he left off in 1945.  Feller went on to dominate the league again helping his team, the Cleveland Indians, win a Work d Series in 1948.

This is a story that needs to be told to the soft generation of today.  It’s sorely mended.
