Kicking GOP Ass: Donald Trump thrashes competition with wins in seven states on Super Tuesday

It’s time for folks in the GOP to accept what is and fall in line.
Marco Rubio for all his crude attacks on Trump only won one state.  That’s not cutting it.  Ted Cruz supposed to win Texas, but at least he’s got some states under his belt.

NY DailyNews reports Donald Trump rolled over competitors Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz in a super Super Tuesday of voting, in which the GOP’s presidential front-runner sailed to crucial wins in seven states.

The bombastic billionaire was declared the winner in Georgia, Alabama, Massachusetts, Virginia, Arkansas, Tennessee and Vermont.

Sen. Ted Cruz, meanwhile, delivered a trio of big victories — in his home state of Texas, neighboring Oklahoma and Alaska— putting substantial distance between himself and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio in the race for the second-place anti-Trump spot in the GOP.

In a rambling and enthusiastic speech at his Mar-A-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Fla., Trump congratulated himself and took direct aim at Rubio, whose only win Tuesday came from Minnesota’s GOP caucuses, calling him a “lightweight” who “had a tough night.”
