Spineless McCaul: Cruz comments about Muslim neighborhoods 'inflammatory'

Who the heck is Michael McCaul anyway?
I never heard of this guy before today and I think most Americans never heard of him either.

The Hill reports House Homeland Security Chairman Michael McCaul (R) on Sunday said slammed Republican presidential candidate and fellow Texan Ted Cruz's call to patrol and secure Muslim neighborhoods.

"I think to send inflammatory messages could actually have an unintended consequence," McCaul said on CBS's "Face The Nation."

Cruz called for the measure in the wake of the terror attacks in Brussels last week.
"And I know that NYPD...really has a great outreach program to the Muslim community," McCaul said Sunday.

He said effective outreach to the Muslim community is needed to "pull the religious leaders really onto our team, if you will, to protect us from radicalization from within those communities."

I’m so sick and tired of weak-kneed politicians scared to death about saying anything about Muslims.  I’m not a Cruz supporter but I have no problems with what he said.  America doesn’t need to be like Brussels or the rest of Europe with no-go zones afraid to police Muslim neighborhoods. ALL neighborhoods in America get policed Mr. McCaul.  Mine does and I’m sure yours does too.  So why should Muslims be treated differently?

  1. Are there police in your neighborhood making sure you aren't being radicalized? Sounds like the Thought Police, but of course you are all in favor of that, just as long as your thoughts aren't being policed.
