Where’s Black Lives Matter?: 2 killed, 9 shot in Chicago shootings Wednesday, including 5 leaving party bus in South Shore

Don’t hold your breath waiting for Black Lives Matter to protest the gun violence.
The shooters weren’t cops.  So, the lives of those killed and wounded don’t matter to BLM.

ChicagoTribune reports five people were wounded as they left a party bus in the South Shore neighborhood early Thursday, among 11 people shot across the city since Wednesday.

The driver of the bus said more than 30 people were celebrating a birthday.  He said he didn't have any problems until he dropped some of them off in the 7000 block of South Paxton Avenue around 2:10 a.m. and heard more than 30 shots.
"I was standing outside the bus.  As soon as the shots were fired, I went back into the bus," he told WGN-TV. "And then when I turned around, a young lady was under the bus.  She said she was shot.

"They were still shooting," the driver said. "I picked her up and put her on the bus and pulled out."

He said he drove two victims to Jackson Park Hospital, a 22-year-old woman shot in the left foot and a 22-year-old man shot in the right hand. They were both reported stable.
The other victims included a 29-year-old man hit in the right leg and reported stable at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, another victim stable at Northwestern and a fifth victim, a 22-year-old man, dropped off at University of Chicago Hospitals with wounds to the leg and chest.  He was transferred to Mount Sinai Hospital.
No one was reported in custody.
