Trump has second thoughts about Muslim ban, just a suggestion for now

It’s called the general election for a reason.
  And frequently candidates tailor their message differently for the Fall campaign.  However, it would be a mistake to think Trump is taking this option off the table if the situation changes.    

Daily Mail reports Donald Trump's December prescription for the potential flow of Islamic terrorists into America – what he called 'a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States' – was 'just a suggestion,' the Republican Party's presidential nominee-in-waiting said Wednesday.

'We have a serious problem, and it's a temporary ban. It hasn't been called for yet. Nobody's done it. This is just a suggestion until we find out what's going on,' Trump said in a radio interview with Fox News host Brian Kilmeade on Wednesday.

That 'suggestion' was a firm policy prescription five months ago – following terror attacks in California and France – and drew criticism from every direction, including from many of his then-rivals in the GOP primary season. '
