Every time there’s a media report that ISIS is on the run or losing, it seems they responded with a splashy attack to argue otherwise.

USA Today reports extending the deadliest spate of attacks in the Iraqi capital so far this year, police and medical sources said three bombings killed at least 63 people and wounded more than 100 in Baghdad on Tuesday.A suicide bombing claimed by Islamic State in a USA TODAY

At least 69 people were killed Tuesday in a wave of four bombings at Baghdad markets, bringing the death toll from attacks in Iraq this past week to more than 200, according to media reports.

The Islamic State, also known as ISIL or ISIS, claimed responsibility for two of the attacks, according to the Associated Press.
