Warning to irrelevant conservatives like Bill Kristol and Mitt Romney: RNC Chair says independent bit against Trump ‘a suicide mission’

I like to tweak Bill Kristol because the man doesn’t realize he’s got no sway with the conservative base except for the small sliver who attend D.C. cocktail parties.
Mitt Romney?  It’s sad what’s become of him.

Fox News reports Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus warned Sunday that any effort by conservatives to draft a candidate to run against presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump would be a "suicide mission for our country."

"What it means is that you're throwing down not just eight years of the White House, but potentially 100 years on the Supreme Court and wrecking this country for many generations," Priebus told "Fox News Sunday". "And so, I think that's the legacy these folks will leave behind."

Over the weekend, The Washington Post reported that a group of anti-Trump Republicans led by 2012 GOP nominee Mitt Romney and conservative commentator William Kristol had begun recruiting candidates to make an independent run for the White House.

  1. Romney pay attention to your hundred grandchildren and 5 sons and daughter-in-laws. How about your wife suffering from M.S. -- show her your attention.

Romney, you have turned into a bitter, vengeful, and jealous wimp.

  2. mittens and his ilk HAD a chance (actually many) to put forth their 'ideal' candidate and couldn't make it happen. I'm not a trump fan by any means but if he is the new 'standard bearer' then what needs to be done to prevent hills from finally destroying what little is left of the Republic is what needs to happen.
