Why Trump won, and how the pundits missed it

To boil down Donald Trump in his simplest form: He’s a can do guy taking over a no can do GOP.  That’s how simple it is.

It was never about him being the best conservative.  For too long the GOP lied year after to the voters.  “Vote for me, a true conservative and I’ll do this!”.  But they never did what they promised to do once they got to Washington.  And after the GOP base gave the Republicans The House in 2010, the establishment ignored the Tea Party that made it happen.

The base gave the GOP the Senate in 2012 with a promise to defend Obamacare.  What happened?  The GOP establishment funded it.  That was the last straw and the stage was set for payback of the base.

We heard talk about Jeb Bush snatching up the GOP nod without the base.  But, the base made sure that wasn’t going to happen and Jeb Bush never got above single digits in the polls.

But, unexpectedly a man from New York named Donald Trump announced he’s running for the GOP nomination and he talked about building a Wall and the rest is history.  The more the GOP establishment and the conservative intelligentsia talked against Trump, the more the base fell in love with him.

The Republican base finally had their vessel to tell the GOP establishment FUCK YOU We’re Blowing UP This Bitch!

That’s how Trump won.

Exactly right. Trump has not been winning in spite of the anti-Trump crowd, but because of them.
