In Memory of Julia Laporte Gonzalez 2/16/27 – 9/19/16

My Mom was laid to rest yesterday in her beloved hometown of Guayama, Puerto Rico.
She lived to be 89 years old.  My Aunt Trudy, sister Judy, brother Jay, myself and many family members from Puerto Rico and New York were blessed to attend her beautiful ceremony and remember what she meant to all of us and how she touched our lives in countless ways.  Words cannot express my gratitude for family members who flew from New York, New Jersey, and Louisiana to comfort me and my brother and sister in our time of sorrow.

Thank you all!

Mom, I love you so much for all you’ve done for me.  It’s because of you I didn’t go blind you took me to the best doctors in New York to fight to keep my eyesight.  It’s because of you Momi, you and God, I can still see.  Thank you so much! Te Amo!

  1. I'm very sorry to hear of your loss. These things always leave a 'hole in your heart' that are difficult to fill. Prayers for you and your family.

  2. Sorry to hear this, prayers for you and yours.

  3. She must have been a wonderful woman to have raised such a caring and loving son. Prayers for her.

  4. I'm sorry for your loss. Remember the good times but don't be surprised if the sadness returns from time to time.

  5. My sincere condolences.

I lost my beloved mother on November 8, 1987. I miss my best friend all these years later.
