Mike Pence's campaign plane SKIDS OFF the runway at New York's LaGuardia airport:

Thank God nobody was hurt!
Daily Mail reports Vice presidential candidate Mike Pence's campaign plane slid off the runway as it landed at New York's LaGuardia Airport on Thursday evening.

The governor of Indiana, who was returning from a campaign event in Iowa, was not hurt in the bumpy landing.

There were 48 passengers on the plane, including the candidate, journalists and campaign staff, when it skidded off the runway at around 7.50pm during a heavy downpour.

Emergency crews were on site but no injuries were reported.

The out-of-control jet shot off the end of the runway and was slowed down by a special surface of crushed concrete which helped avert possible disaster.

Audio recordings revealed Air Traffic Controllers ordered the eight-year-old Boeing 737-700 to stop.

  1. FAA crash investigation team better check the brake lines, make sure they weren't cut...
