Trump has reached out more than any other GOPer than ran for president and went to urban areas to do it.
He'll do more for the African American community in 8 months than Barack Obama has done in eight years.

The son of civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. told reporters after his meeting with Trump that the nation must “move forward” from its division.

Responding to questions about Trump’s attacks on civil rights leader Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga.) — Trump called Lewis “all talk” and “no action” after Lewis called Trump an “illegitimate” president and announced his intention to boycott the inauguration — King said that “in the heat of emotion a lot of things get said on both sides.”
