Beloved Radio Host Alan Combs Passes Away at 66

I was so shocked to hear of the passing of Alan Combs.
I became familiar with him for his association with Sean Hannity.  It's so sad to hear he's gone!  Even though I disagreed with most everything he said, he was never nasty and often times pretty funny.  This truly is sad news.  RIP Alan!

USA Today reports Fox News Channel commentator Alan Colmes, who often presented liberal counterpoints to his more conservative colleagues, died Thursday morning at age 66, the network confirmed.
Colmes died "after a brief illness," his family, including his wife, Jocelyn Crowley, said Thursday morning in a statement aired on Fox News.

"He was a great guy, brilliant, hysterical, and moral," his family said. "He was fiercely loyal, and the only thing he loved more than his work was his life with Jocelyn. He will be missed. The family has asked for privacy during this very difficult time."

Famously paired for years with conservative commentator Sean Hannity on the show "Hannity & Colmes," the left-leaning New York native earned the respect of his colleagues.

  1. I also disagreed with Alan Colmes. But it is just like you said, he was never nasty. And I have yet to hear a bad word said by anyone after his death. In our country, both sides need to be heard, and the manner that Alan C. spoke is the proper way to do so. RIP, to a quality man.

  2. I kind of felt sorry for him when he was on TV with Hannity as he had to defend all of the liberal lies while sitting there with Hannity who was armed with the truth. It must have been a very hard job.
