Wife of ESPN’s Chris Berman killed in Connecticut car crash

NY DailyNews reports longtime ESPN broadcaster Chris Berman was sitting at Citi Field watching the Mets play the Giants on Tuesday when police told him his wife of more than 30 years was killed in a car wreck in Connecticut.

KathyBerman, 67, a former teacher, died in the two-vehicle wreck about 2:15 p.m. in Woodbury, state police said. The driver of the other vehicle, Edward Bertulis, 87, of Waterbury, was also killed.
