Yawn!: Sports Illustrated to give the divisive Colin Kaepernick Muhammad Ali award

This is the kind of stupid stuff that happen in Lib World.
Remember how Dan Rather got an award for creating the Fake News industry? This is the same old, same old behavior of Leftists pumping each other's reputation by giving each other awards.  Does the Nobel Prize mean anything anymore after Obama got one for doing nothing?

The Blaze reports Colin Kaepernick hasn’t played football in 2017, and that’s not likely to change anytime soon.

His name and his protests, however, remain in the public consciousness. In recent months, he’s signed a million-dollar book deal, been named GQ’s Citizen of the Year, and now, Sports Illustrated has given Kaepernick the 2017 Muhammad Ali Legacy Award.

  1. Muhammad Ali Legacy Award? Actually, that is indeed very appropriate. Though not in the way that Sports Illustrated thinks.

  2. Muhammad Ali - say whatever you want about the man - was a far more honorable, forthright individual who lived his beliefs than Colin Kaepernick ever was, ever is at present or ever will be.

  3. Never heard of the award before last night. Whatever value it had will now be devalued by this choice.
