NY Post reports Chuck Todd at first laughed off President Trump’s comment that the NBC anchor is a “sleeping son of a bitch” and used it to tout his Sunday morning news show but later turned serious and called the president out for airing “vulgarities like that.”

During a raucous campaign-style rally Saturday evening for a Republican congressional candidate, Trump told the fired-up crowd he had always been tough on North Korea and raised an interview he did on “Meet the Press” in 1999 as proof while taunting the show’s current host.

“Meet the Press, a show now headed by sleepy-eyes Chuck Todd,” Trump said. “He is a sleeping son of a bitch, I’ll tell you.”
