Bergen County sheriff accused of making racist comments, calls for his resignation

I listened to the comments and like so many times in the past the allegations are overblown.
 I don't see what he said wrong.  But, politicians like to take advantage with this sort of thing to score political points with people who vote Democrat.

Bergen Record reports Gov. Phil Murphy said Thursday that Bergen County Sheriff Michael Saudino should immediately resign if, in fact, he was caught on tape making racist remarks about African-Americans and New Jersey's Sikh attorney general.

According to a report from WNYC, which said the station was provided with the recording, Saudino is heard talking to colleagues on the day Murphy was inaugurated.

Saudino, recounting the details of Murphy's Jan. 16 inaugural address, said: "He talked about the whole thing, the marijuana, sanctuary state ... better criminal justice reform. Christ almighty, in other words, let the blacks come in, do whatever the f--k they want, smoke their marijuana, do this do that, and don't worry about it. You know, we'll tie the hands of cops," according to the report.
