The Big War Bluff: Russia and Iran warn Trump they will retaliate militarily against US if it crosses their 'red line' again with attacks on Assad in Syria

This is a brave noise.
Russia really doesn't want to get in a shooting war with the United States.  However, Iran is a different story.  We owe them a lot of payback going back as far as the Iran hostage crisis 1979 to as recently as the Iran capture of our Navy sailors a few years ago.  An attack on Iran is very likely if they act stupid!

Daily Mail reports Russian and Iranian forces last night warned Donald Trump they would retaliate with military action if he launched more airstrikes on Syria.

In an ominous threat raising the prospect of war, they said the US President had crossed a 'red line' with his surprise missile bombardment on Bashar al-Assad's forces.

'From now on we will respond with force to any breach of red lines and America knows our ability to respond well,' the military chiefs said in a joint statement with militant group Hezbollah.

The Russian Embassy in London suggested on Sunday night there could be 'real war' if Moscow is presented with an ultimatum over Syria.

But UK Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson will lead a push on Monday for Russia to face tough new sanctions unless it withdraws its support for Assad.

  1. So, could Iran say they owe us payback for the 1950's overthrow of their elected government, the support we gave the Shah's secret police, and the aid we gave Iraq during the Iran-Iraq War?

How about we bring all our troops home, end all aid to every other nation, nullify all defense treaties, and start minding our own business?
