From what I can see over
20,000 write-in votes were cast in Alabama that did not go to Republican Roy
Moore or Democrat Doug Jones.
It could been seen as a deciding factor in the special election.
It could been seen as a deciding factor in the special election.
This wasn't the result I
wanted but the state of Alabama felt different.
Apparently 40 year old false allegation, and yes I do believe the
allegations against Moore were false, swayed enough people. That's a shame because it will embolden more
of this kind of stuff in the future. The GOP establishment are spineless fools and they have invited an avalanche of false sexual charges to rain on them forever.
Too bad!
Moore hasn't conceded and they're still counting. This one ain't over and, if he figures they're pulling a Franken or Christine Gregoire on him, I do hope he fights it out.

ReplyDeleteMust. Do. Better.
FWIW, expected turnout was 25%, but the Demos say they got 92%.
ReplyDeleteAnd the paper ballots have already been destroyed.
Shades of 2012 and all those 140% turnouts.
No, the GOP let Luther Strange down. Don't blame the State of Alabama.
