what happened to this kid. It was all avoidable

NY Post reports President Trump decried North Korea as a “brutal regime” after University of Virginia student Otto Warmbier, who was freed from the totalitarian nation last week, died Monday afternoon.“At least he got home to his parents,” Trump said during an event in the State Dining Room, according to Bloomberg. “It’s a brutal regime and we’ll be able to handle it.”Warmbier spent a year and a half behind bars in North Korea for trying to take a propaganda poster from his hotel room. Soon after his conviction, he suffered a “severe neurological” injury, doctors have said.“Melania and I offer our deepest condolences to the family of Otto Warmbier on his untimely passing,” Trump said in a statement.
