Vermont Democrats nominate first transgeder woman for governor Okay, start crying

The same mindset that thinks this is cool brought Detroit to bankruptcy, ignores being shot in droves in Chicago
, and leads to piles of human feces on the streets of San Francisco.  So what is there to get happy about?  

Burlington Free Press reports Vermont Democrats made history Tuesday by nominating Christine Hallquist as the first transgender individual to be a major party candidate for governor.

Meanwhile, preliminary results showed that Gov. Phil Scott survived a challenge animated by his former Republican allies in the gun-rights movement.
