Milwaukee Bucks Owner Marc Lasry |
It was a
horrible mistake by sports owners to allow a players political expression onto
the field.
A distinction needed to be made that permitted players to express their political feeling either before or after games, not during the games!
A distinction needed to be made that permitted players to express their political feeling either before or after games, not during the games!
But, owners didn't
do that and invited a horrible mess!
Sports are suppose
to be an escape for fans. They have no
interest to listen to players feel about any political or social issue. That's not what they were hired for.
After the
shooting of Jacob Blake, the Milwaukee Bucks taken to boycott and refused to play in the
playoffs. Other teams across the sports
world have taken the example and refused to play as well.
This is the
moment sports owners need to draw a line in the sand.
Every player
who refuses to play is in violation of their contract. Playing for the NBA, or Major League Baseball,
or the NFL is a privilege, not a right.
Owners need to give players a choice. Either play or the player is fired! This is
the occasion sports owners need to regain control of their sport! Players can protest all they want during off
hours. But, when it seeps into the games
itself that is unsustainable!
Yeah; now the "woke" NBA players are striking until their list of "actionable demands" is met. NEWSFLASH, MILLIONAIRE "oppressed" game players; YOU SELL SOMETHING WE DON'T NEED! You don't play, no one watches you. No one watches you, no money comes in. No money comes in, you DON'T GET PAID! Strike as LOOONG as you wish...
