Blame Putin for Chems: Russia knew Syria’s chemical-weapon attack was coming

I though the Obama regime and Russia assured the world that Syria's chemical weapons were eliminated? 
Looks like Russia needs to pay a price, maybe new sanctions with teeth imposed by President Trump?    

NY Post reports the United States confirmed on Monday that Russia knew in advance about Syria’s deadly chemical-weapons attack — as the Kremlin announced that Vladimir Putin would not meet with Secretary of State Rex Tillerson when Tillerson visits Moscow this week.

A senior official confirmed reports that a Russian-operated drone flew over a hospital in Syria as victims rushed to get treatment.

Hours after the drone was gone, a Russian-made fighter bombed the hospital in what American officials believe was an attempt to cover up the chemical weapons by destroying evidence.

Until Monday, US officials had said they weren’t sure if the drone had been operated by Russia or Syria.
