ABC News put
out an extremely misleading story saying that President Trump is hiring a lawyer to
deal with false allegations of Russian collusion.
In ABC News's
story they write the following:
"President Donald Trump is expected to retain lawyer Marc Kasowitz as his private attorney representing him on matters related to the Russia investigation being led by Special Counsel Robert Mueller, a source close to Kasowitz and sources familiar with the Trump’s decision confirmed to ABC News."
But in the
third paragraph of the story they write:
"Kasowitz has represented Trump "on a wide range of litigation matters for over 15 years" according to his biography on his law firm's webpage."
President Trump is not hiring a lawyer for
anything as ABC so desperately is trying to imply. Kasowitz is one of many lawyers Trump has an
on-going business relationship for years.
There's no change of status and shame on ABC for sleazy and dishonest
reporting.
