Half of illegals arrested at US-CANADA border -- Mexican...

Who knew?
Washington Examiner reports more than half of the illegal immigrants arrested last year as they traveled from Canada to the U.S. were Mexican citizens, according to newly released government data.

A total of 4,316 noncitizens were arrested at the northern U.S. border in fiscal 2018, and 2,245 of those were Mexican citizens. Mexican nationals are able to fly to Canada without a visa.
Total arrests at the northern border jumped 43 percent between 2017 and 2018, and reached the highest level in eight years. In 2017, 3,027 were arrested.

  1. I take it the airfare to Canada is less than what these illegals pay coyotes to get them across the border, eh? And if they can afford to make it to Canada, why bother coming into the US? Trudeau has told them they're welcomed in Canada and will get the necessary services to get them on their feet. So if they're welcomed in Canada, why the hell are they coming to the US where they're not welcomed?

  2. I don;t get how that works coming from Canada. Maybe these were Mexicans that went all the way up to Canada and decided to go back South?
