Woman shot dead 2 others wounded in high crime area Oceanview in San Francisco shooting

One of the untold stories is the jump in crime in San Francisco that Democrats who run that town consider the "new normal".

ABC 7 News reports a 65-year-old woman was killed in a shooting that also injured two men Wednesday morning in San Francisco's Oceanview neighborhood.

Officers responded to the intersection of Broad Street and Plymouth Avenue around 10:40 a.m.

"When officers arrived on the scene, we found three victims who had sustained gunshot wounds. One of the victims has died due to a gunshot wound at this time," SFPD Captain Denise Flaherty said.

The female victim was described as a 65-year-old woman who was walking on the street. The other two victims were described as a contractor who worked for a cleaning company, and a 50-year-old man who was walking home from the corner store. Shell casings at the scene indicated at least 11 rounds were fired in the shooting.

Police said the area is a hot spot for crime, and that the department has been focusing on the neighborhood. Four shootings have taken place in the same intersection since last November.
