Mandy Patinkin drops out of Broadway’s ‘Great Comet’ after racial uproar

It's funny how Libs create their own drama when dealing with drama.
NY Post reports Broadway icon Mandy Patinkin has dropped out of “Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812” following outrage over the show’s decision to cut African-American actor Okieriete “Oak”Onaodowan’s run short to make way for Patinkin, who is white.

“My understanding of the show’s request that I step into the show is not as it has been portrayed and I would never accept a role knowing it would harm another actor,” Patinkin wrote on social media Friday. “I hear what members of the community have said and I agree with them. I am a huge fan of Oak and I will, therefore, not be appearing in the show.”
