KCRA reports a Modesto policesergeant died Tuesday evening when he was hit by a suspected DUI driver while riding his bike, the California Highway Patrol said.The crash happened around 6:10 p.m. in front of Savage Middle School, near Maid Mariane Lane and Merle Avenue.
