Breitbart reports a Morning Consult/Politico poll released Wednesday showed a majority of Republican voters would support a federal government shutdown if it could deliver the signature Trump promise of a southern border wall.The poll shows 51 percent of Republican respondents supported forcing a shutdown to fund the wall, with 26 percent of those strongly supporting such a measure. The corresponding figures for all voters were 28 and 14 percent respectively, reflecting strong opposition from Democrats and independent voters.
