Woman Beatrice Jones killed in domestic shooting among 8 shot in Chicago

This is sad, this is really sad!  I've done countless of posts about Chicago shootings and the story never changes.
The shootings go in this major American city and it doesn't stop.  It's normal for Chicago and something is really wrong with that mindset.
Chicago Tribune reports a 56-year-old woman was shot and killed late Friday in a residence on the South Side in what appears to be a domestic incident, Chicago police said.

She was among eight people who were shot in Chicago Friday and early Saturday, and hers was the first of two homicides Friday night, including a teenager who was stabbed to death on the West Side.

The woman, identified as Beatrice Jones, was found unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the chest in an apartment around 9:50 p.m. in the 8600 block of South Carpenter Street in the Gresham neighborhood. She lived on the same block, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office
