7 wounded in city shootings, including 3 children


Shootings are actually down for the first 6 months in 2018.
Chicago Tribune reports six people, including three children, were shot in a single attack Sunday evening on the West Side, and a man was wounded in a separate shooting on the South Side, Chicago police said.

At least four of the victims were not the intended targets of the shooters, police said.

The shooting that injured six happened just before 10 p.m. in the 3400 block of West Walnut Street in the East Garfield Park neighborhood, police said.
