Graham: GOP senators want ‘limited’ FBI probe into Kavanaugh

This probe needs to be focused and not become a Robert Mueller-type fishing expedition.

NY Post reports Sen. Lindsey Graham on Sunday said the three Republican senators who asked for an FBI investigation into sexual misconduct accusations against Brett Kavanaugh wanted a “limited review” – despite President Trump declaring the department will be given “free rein” to look into the Supreme Court nominee.

“I know that Sens. Flake, Collins and Murkowski wanted a limited review. They wanted the FBI to talk to the witnesses Dr. Ford named,” the South Carolina Republican said on ABC’s “This Week,” referring to Jeff Flake of Arizona, Susan Collins of Maine and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska.
