She'll say anything: Ocasio-Cortez says she has Jewish roots during Hanukah celebration

NY Post reports Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who was raised as Catholic, claims she actually has Jewish roots that span back 500 years to the Spanish Inquisition.

The congresswoman-elect made the ancestral connection for the first time during a Hanukkah celebration Sunday in Queens — without offering any evidence.

“A very, very long time ago, generations and generations ago, my family consisted of Sephardic Jews,” the 29-year-old Democrat told the audience at the Jackson Heights Jewish Center.
