If Joe Biden were president during this period, 2 million Americans would have died of Covid and a vaccine wouldn't be available until 2026.
One AmericanNews reports the Trump administration is looking to push Pfizer’s vaccine through the regulatory red tape and out to the American people.
On Friday, President Trump updated the public on the fight against the coronavirus pandemic while also touting the success of Operation Warp Speed.
“The average development timeline for the vaccine, including clinical tests and manufacturing, can take eight to 12 years,” he explained. “Through Operation Warp Speed, we’re doing it in less than one year.”
The President said the administration invested nearly $2 billion into Pfizer, so they could manufacture and distribute 100 million doses of their vaccine.
