According to
Breitbart President Donald Trump is attacking conservative lawmakers after the
failure of the Republican bill to replace Obamacare.
On Twitter
Sunday, Trump says: “Democrats are smiling in D.C. that the Freedom Caucus,
with the help of Club For Growth and Heritage, have saved Planned Parenthood
& Ocare!”
The Freedom
Caucus is a hard-right group of House members who were largely responsible for
blocking the bill to undo President Barack Obama’s Affordable Care Act. The
bill was pulled from the House floor Friday in a humiliating political defeat for
the president.

This is the
first time I'm publicly criticizing President Trump on this blog. I don't anticipate this happening too often
but I gotta say President Trump is casting his ire on the wrong people.
Conservatives
such as those on the Freedom Caucus are his best allies to get his agenda
through. They are a better representative
of the GOP base than any other ire Republican group.
Politically,
President Trump would be wiser to lockup that group first in agreeing to
legislation, then work his way out to moderates, less moderates in the GOP, and
then Democrats. Relying on Paul Ryan is
a bad misstep by the president because Ryan is a big government GOPer. His ObamaCare-lite plan was doomed to failure
to blow up in the president's face!
Whoever
President Trump is listening to advising him to attack conservatives needs be marginalized
immediately. And if President Trump is
attacking conservatives on his own, it's time to wise up!
