This guy was a marginal comedy writer for SNL. For the past eight years he's been masquerading as a U.S. senator and hasn't contributed nothing to his state or the nation of substance. But, in the Leftist world, he's a star! That's how out of tough the Democrat Party is with regular people. Al Franken is literally a joke that's not funny.

Al Franken. “Franken takes a judicious approach,” reads the newspaper headline.
