McConnell vows Gorsuch confirmation: How he gets on the court depends on Democrats, but he's gonna get on

If Democrats want to filibuster a supreme court appointment for the first time in history, then the stench of it will stick to then for eternity. 
 

Fox News reports Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said Sunday that Judge Neil Gorsuch will be confirmed this week to the Supreme Court but acknowledged Republicans still might not have enough support from Senate Democrats to avoid their attempts to slow or try to stop the nomination process with a filibuster.
