In Bill de Blasio's New-New York: NYPD officer Miosotis Familia assassinated while she sat in her police vehicle

This type of thing didn't happen under Michael Bloomberg or Rudy Giuliani.  But, since Mayor Bill de Blasio has removed "stop and frisk" as a viable police tactic, more guns are on the streets!
When is this city going to wake up?

NY Post reports the police officer who was shot in the head while sitting in a police vehicle in the Bronx early Wednesday has died according to law enforcement sources. The officer has been identified as 48-year-old Miosotis Familia.

A suspect came up and blasted Familia through the window without warning, sources said.
“It was an attempted cop assassination,” one law enforcement source told The Post.

The gunman approached at 12:30 a.m. as Familia sat inside a temporary headquarters vehicle at East 183rd Street and Morris Avenue in Fordham Heights, according to sources.

Familia — a 12-year-veteran who is with the Anti-Crime unit of the 46th Precinct — was rushed to St. Barnabus Hospital, where she was undergoing surgery but could not be saved.

  1. As a New Yorker De Blasio makes me sick. But what makes me even sicker is that this useless excuse will be reelected in a landslide. He won't be getting my vote though.
