Teen too traumatised to tell police about sex attack at Mount Eliza

This is so messed up!
Herald Sun reports a TEENAGE girl sexually assaulted as she walked home from a party was left so traumatised it took her almost a year to report the attack.

A man dragged the victim — then aged 16 — into bushes at Mount Eliza during the ordeal.
It’s understood a second man kept lookout before the duo fled.

Sexual Crimes Squad detectives have today released a Crime Stoppers alert featuring a computer-generated image of a man they believe might be able to help their inquiries.

Detective Sen-Constable Laura Colley said: “This was a senseless and vicious attack on an innocent young woman who prior to the offence occurring had been enjoying a nice evening with friends.”
“The young woman was so emotionally traumatised as a result of the attack that she felt unable to report it,’’ Detective Sen-Constable Colley said.
