Not a winning strategy for Dems: Pelosi Calls on Paul Ryan to Immediately Remove ‘Confederate Statues’ from Capitol

Removing Confederate statues is not a formula for the Democrats to win elections. 
It will backfire. 

CNS News reports House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D.-Calif.) today called on House Speaker Paul Ryan (R.-Wisc.) to immediately remove “Confederate statues” from the U.S. Capitol.

“If Republicans are serious about rejecting white supremacy, I call upon Speaker Ryan to join Democrats to remove the Confederate statues from the Capitol immediately,” Pelosi said in a statement.
