Mets manager Mickey Callaway may be a dead man walking

Mets GM Brodie Van Wagenen came to New York six months ago bold as brass making claims the Mets were the class of the eastern division.
That was fine and I was all for that.  But a quarter into the 2019 season, the Mets are 20-23, 4 1/2 games out of first place.  There's plenty of baseball left.

However, this is a big enough sample to make a judgment on second year manager Mickey Callaway.  Would it be fair to fire Callaway?  No, it wouldn't.  That's baseball.  You can't fire the team.  So, the manager takes it in the neck.  The Mets are playing the worst team in baseball, the Miami Marlins, and have already lost the first game of a 3 game series.  If the Mets don't come back and win the next two.  There would be no better time to get rid of Callaway.
