Why is Simone Biles still at the games? She should go home and seek the therapy she needs.
But, no! She still wants the face time and the adulation she''s getting playing the victim. This is a very bad example for our children.AOL News reports Simone Biles withdrew from Sunday’s individual event finals in vault and uneven bars due to an inability to mentally focus enough to compete. She has made no determination as to Monday’s final in floor and Tuesday’s in beam.
The four-time gold medalist at the Rio 2016 Games is continuing to train here in Tokyo while seeking professional help.
“Today, after further consultation with medical staff, Simone Biles has decided to withdraw from the event finals for vault and the uneven bars,” USA Gymnastics said in a statement. "She will continue to be evaluated daily to determine whether to compete in the finals for floor exercise and balance beam.”

Go home ! Your 15 minutes are up.
ReplyDeletebecause she has friends there? because she spent her entire life doing that and she wants to let go on her own terms?
ReplyDeleteSeriously, why should anyone care?
ReplyDeleteWayne you never even has 25 mind of fame in high school
ReplyDeleteI've seen a lot of piling on Miss Biles, and don't like it much. She has a case of the 'twisties,' something about which every gymnast seems to know; it is a loss of awareness of where a gymnast is in the air, and it could be seen in her very first floor exercise, where she didn't just step out of bounds, but got completely off the pad. She just didn't know where she was. She cut back her vault from a 2½ to a 1½, and even though she landed on her feet, it was a poor landing. Can you imagine being 12 feet in the air and not knowing where the ground was?
ReplyDeleteWhy is she still there? I would imagine her transportation back to the United States was already arranged, and paid for, for after the closing ceremony, like every other athlete's is. More, we expect injured football players to be on the sidelines, even when it's bitterly cold and snowing, to remain part of the team, and support the team. That's what Miss Biles is doing.
