Fred and Jeff Wilpon, owners
of the New York Mets, will gladly charge
major league prices for tickets.
But, they don't have the decency to put major league talent on the field.
But, they don't have the decency to put major league talent on the field.
These two skinflints are oblivious
to what it is like to share a city with the New York Yankees. All they do is bitch and moan about the money
the Yankees spend on their team. They
say it's unsustainable. The Yankees
haven't had a losing season since 1992 and they are very far from financial
collapse.
What's unsustainable is the
pain Mets fans suffer knowing the Wilpon won’t sell the Mets. What's unsustainable is the chuckles from
sports writers and commentators trying to describe the way the Mets go about
their business without breaking into laughter.
How much pain is enough Fred
to convince you to sell the Mets and give Mets fans relief?
