Charles Barkley rightly defends cops, says Breonna Taylor shouldn't be 'lumped in' with George Floyd

I agree with Charles Barkley said.  But, this is the problem mixing politics with sports.

Sports announcers, analysts, and such should be only talking about the game-period!  Leave real life events out of it because that's not what sports are for!

NY Post reports basketball legend and NBA analyst Charles Barkley defended Louisville police this week, insisting that the shooting of Breonna Taylor shouldn’t be “lumped in” with other high-profile shootings of unarmed black people.

On the Thursday night TNT pregame show for game four of the Western Conference Finals between the Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets, Barkley sounded off about his thoughts on the case.

“I don’t think this one was like George Floyd or Ahmaud Arbery and things like that,” Barkley said, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

  1. I disagree. She should be lumped in with George Floyd. Both were low-life, violent, drug-using and drug-dealing pieces of poop.

Okay, don't lump her in with George Floyd.

Have two categories for low-life, violent, drug-using and drug-dealing pieces of poop, divided by sex.

George Floyd killed George Floyd. That's what happens when you suck a far-more-than-lethal-dose of illegal drugs.

Okay, Barkley's right. Two different categories: Self Slabbed, and Officer Slabbed.

    Prove me wrong.

  2. Barkley has more than enough money to live out two more lives comfortably. I was never a fan of his while he played, yet his words and deeds since retirement have earned my respect. He is speaking the truth and speaking out at a time when he could just stay at home and do nothing - this shows me he actually cares about what is going on and he cares about the truth. As well, he won't back down, and that is good for everyone.
